I work remotely - WiFi was strong enough for email/ running systems/ streaming video. Location is amazing! The neighbors are far enough away that you feel totally private. The peaceful quiet is unbelievable… other than the breeze and coyote howls at dawn, it’s nearly silent. Outdoor shower is DIVINE. I didn’t use the indoor shower at all! Hot tub is squeaky clean. If you turn the heater off for a couple hrs you can also use it as a mini pool. Location is 20 minutes from Joshua Tree park entrance. I had enough time to hike a few hours each day and fit in a full 8hrs of work. If you come for stargazing, there are landscape lights on the front porch - I just covered them with wash cloths while taking astrophotographry. Otherwise, the property is pretty dark. Highly recommend turning the AC fan off and opening the screen door and bedside window for the best cross breeze! Cooking oil, seasonings, a few coffee pods provided. Excellent stay!!!
