Wonderful hotel, property is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. The hike to the river on the property is well worth the walk - just take swimsuits to get in the river (and bug spray 😁). The pool area was big and spread out, so you can have some privacy. Swim up bar was very convenient.
The rooms were beautiful and the balconies are to die for. If you can get a FOREST view room, do it… it will not disappoint.
Recommendation (that was given to us by Tanya at the front desk) - Spring Paradise sloth tour… we saw a TON of animals we wouldn’t have been able to see on our own, our guide Steve was amazing! Check them out if you have a chance!
Loved our stay…. It was the perfect way to end our Costa Rican vacation.

This place was truly a gem. I wish I didn’t have to write a review because I don’t want anyone coming here. Nelson at the bar and at the restaurant gave us excellent drinks and service. Not to mention, the location was superb. We saw so much wildlife it was magical. The night walk was truly fantastic, and scary. Please remember to tip your guides. There was a group of like 15 Europeans plus my husband and I and we were the only ones who tipped after the guides took us in for a two hour night walk to show us different types of animals we never would’ve found on our own meanwhile keeping us safe. Our only regret about this place was that we didn’t stay longer. Communication via Airbnb was not great. Contact the hotel directly to get answered to your questions. Also, they didn’t stock our fridge with anything like they do all other rooms. Seeing monkeys from our porch was spectacular! We will always treasure this stay.

Wow, our time at the Rio Celeste Hideaway was absolutely outstanding! We don’t have enough words to describe the beautiful setting, ambiance, cleanliness and professional, warm and friendly hospitality. Everyone went over and above to help make our stay a memorable one.(The staff Christian, Nelson and Catherine were so amazing, they were there to add a personal touch of hospitality and local insight.)The room was extremely clean, and so beautiful. We loved the balcony and even had white faced monkeys come to say hi. The outdoor shower was a huge highlight of the room, we never even tried the indoor gorgeous stone shower. It’s a 5 min. Drive to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica. We loved the private trails and swimming in the river coming from the Rio Celeste waterfall.

We had one of the best, most memorable experiences at the Rio Celeste Hideaway and can’t wait to return.

Everything was amazing except there was no got water and the food wasn't good. But the free night time tour was great ! It was better than the ones I paid for.
