Wir hatten eine super Zeit bei Heather. Alles war sehr sauber und wir hatten alles was wir für die 2 Nächte gebraucht haben.
Unser Highlight war der Hauseigene Strand, an dem wir einen Wal, Seelöwen und Seeotter beobachten konnten. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Wir wurden direkt herzlich empfangen von Heather und Ray, bekamen am 2. Tag selbst gefangene Prawns welche wir uns schmecken ließen und hatten direkt das Glück vom Frühstückstisch aus einen Wal zu sehen.
Die Lage der Unterkunft war für uns 4 (2 Kinder: 4J+5M.) perfekt.
Ruhig und idyllisch mit Blick aufs Meer.
Wir bekamen Tipps und Vorschläge für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung womit wir uns tolle 5 Tage machen konnten.

My son and I spent two nights at Heron's Roost, and we enjoyed the clean, comfortable suite with its lovely verandah looking out on the waters of Stephen's Bay in Coal Harbour. But the best part of our stay was the hospitality of Ray and Heather, who offered advice on local attractions, made sure the suite was stocked with snacks, pasta, sauce, teas, coffee, toiletries - and gave us a plate of seasoned prawns to grill on the barbecue. They kindly allowed our friends to join us for dinner both nights. Heron's Roost is not just a place to spend a night or two, it is a place worth visiting in its own right.

Probably our best air bnb experience so far. Enjoyed BBQing on the large covered deck, over looking the water. A great location to explore Northern Vancouver Island from. The place was cozy, clean and comfortable. Heather and Ray are welcoming, generous hosts. Highly recommend!
