The house was exactly what we needed for the weekend. We loved the quiet, deadend road but still only 8 minutes to Kenyon and 6 minutes to Mount Vernon. The house had everything we needed inside. Will definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely stay. It's a very nice house in a beautiful setting. We loved drinking coffee on the porch listening to the frogs and birds. A very peaceful getaway, but close to restaurants and shopping.

We stayed for 4 days for a little getaway and we fell in love with the place. It's quiet, private and a home away from home. Enjoying our morning coffee on the porch and catching glimpses of deer while listening to the sounds of nature waking up is perfection. The house was spotless when we arrived (thanks Vicki!) and we immediately entered relaxation mode. Two things that I would recommend would be adding cushions to the outdoor chairs, I loved the little side by side rockers but they were a little uncomfortable after a bit and the bed is way too soft and springy.
The location is great, it's just down the road from restaurants and stores if you need to stock up on anything. It's quiet and exactly what we needed. My husband went on and on about how much he loved it and how he would love to have a place like it.
