The "Capeside" room is a tribute to the nearby Capeside Brewery in Southport. This name also captures the essence of Southport, a picturesque harbor town by the Cape Fear River and the ocean. Decorated with a nautical theme, complete with coastal art, and a view of the Cape Fear River, this room has two queen beds for trips with friends or family. Please note if you have more than 2 guests in the room, we will charge an additional $25/night at check in to cover breakfast and happy hour.

We have lovely guests bedrooms with private bathrooms. We can offer a rolling a cot for a third person in the room at $45.00 per night. We offer three night specials as well as weekly. PLEASE NOTE: The pricing listed is for one room for two people per night. If there are four of you in your party; you will need two rooms; double the price. If you have six people; triple the price ALL PRIVATE BEDROOMS HAVE LOCKS ON THE DOORS. GUESTS GET A ROOM KEY AND A FRONT DOOR KEY.

Enjoy bright, beautiful views of the Harbor from the Shoals. This first floor bedroom and one-bath suite includes a special area for your convenience with a small refrigerator, microwave, and well-stocked coffee maker. The bedroom offers a Queen bed and a separate living room (with a pull-out sofa to sleep 2 more!) with its own TV. This sweet retreat has its own private door leading to a covered front porch with comfortable rockers to take in all the activity on the harbor.

Welcome to a cozy tribute to John, an original owner of the Carriage House Inn and a Rochester, New York native. It may be our smallest room, but it's packed with charm and character. The space features elegant stained-glass transoms and original artwork of central park, along with a matching 18th-century desk and dresser set. There is a queen bed and the full bathroom includes a tub/shower combo and keeps its original 1930s black and white mosaic tile flooring.

Carriage House Inn Bed & Breakfast Pinehurst Room

The "Pinehurst" room pays tribute to the iconic Pinehurst Golf Course, a key piece of American golf history since 1895. This room reflects Pinehurst's storied past and the classic design of its renowned Course No. 2 by Donald Ross and has its own putting game in the room. The room contains a queen bed. This room also includes a full bathroom and is the only room with a walk-in shower. The original 1930s green bathroom tile inspired the golf theme.
