Vanuit dit centraal gelegen huis ligt alles voor de hele groep binnen handbereik. Gelegen tussen en vlakbij de Rijselpoort en de Grote Markt, en op slechts 50 meter van de historische vestingen. Er is steeds een gratis parkeerplaats voor de eigen garages. Er is ook een gratis en veilige (motor)fietsenstalling. Het station ligt op slechts vijf minuten stappen. Je kan er in een straal van 200 meter basketten, voetballen, tennissen, petanque spelen en er is een leuk speelpleintje voor de kleinsten.

Omringd door weelderige tuinen, bos en heide komt hier zelden verkeer anders dan wandelaars, fietsers en paardrijders. Het natuurgebied is rijk aan reeën, vossen en reptielen.
