Beautiful barn with amazing views in Broadhempston

Houndhead Barn is located in the heart of our delightful Devon village, Broadhempston, which is sandwiched between Dartmoor National Park and the beautiful South Devon coastline. The village is home to 2 pubs both offering great food and an award winning village shop with a wide range of local produce. The local town of Totnes is filled with shops, cafes and restaurants and has a national rail station. Broadhempston is near the A38 Devon Expressway putting Exeter and Plymouth within easy reach.

Beautiful Cottage close to beaches and shops

The Gardeners Cottage was recently renovated to the highest standard to create the perfect place to relax and unwind. Situated in Wellswood Village with its quaint shops and pub the Cottage also has direct access onto the Southwest coastal path and is a 7 minute walk to the beautiful Anstey's Cove. Featuring a sitting room with 55" tv, master bedroom with king size bed and built in wardrobes, bathroom with walk in shower and kitchen/breakfast rm with bi-fold doors leading onto a private garden.

Timberly Lodge in the riverside village

The Lodge is a beautifully renovated guest house. The property is designed for 2 people. The property offers 1 bedroom and an open-plan living room, including well-equipped kitchen, dining area, a sofa bed, a south facing patio, parking and private entrance. The Lodge is adjacent to the main house and shares a drive. It is located in the heart of Stoke Gabriel village and 7 minutes walk to the river Dart, shops, pubs and the River Shack cafe. Sandridge Barton Vineyard is a 25-minute walk away.

Solar system covers most of your energy consumption. 100 metres from the famous Exe Estuary Trail, a short drive to the beach (or cycle!), or a 30 minute traffic free walk to the village of Lympstone with its pubs and eateries. Just minutes from Torquay’s marina, it offers a private street entrance & unrestricted parking, plus an on-site Tesla charging point. At the front is a sunny decked courtyard area. The idyllic Meadfoot Beach—a local favourite—is just a scenic 10-minute stroll away.

Cosy converted granary set in quiet countryside

Beautifully converted granary, affording stunning views of the rolling countryside and plenty of outdoor space and parking to suit your needs. Equal distance from Totnes, Dartmouth, Salcombe and Kingsbridge, but importantly good reachable distance from the beach. The Granary, which is set upon a local bridle path is walking distance of the local pub and dogs are very welcome here. cosy nights by the wood burner or sipping wine by the fire pit after a long, lazy day at the near by beaches.

The Apiary is a converted hayloft sitting at the end of a 16th Century Dartmoor Farmhouse, a short ten-minute walk from Widecombe in the Moor and 200m from the Two Moors Way. With it’s own private parking & entrance, the elegantly furnished room features an eclectic mix of antique furniture and Smeg kitchen appliances. From April to August, wander 50m down the road to a five-acre wildflower meadow with a Dartmoor stream and a collection of wild orchids & swathes of native wildflowers.

Higher Brook Shepherd's Hut

Our newly built Shepherd's Hut is self-contained in its own plot at the end of our back garden with direct, private access down a path alongside our property. The hut lies on the fringes of Totnes, in a secluded location with views across fields towards Haytor. A welcome breakfast of bread and cereals is provided on arrival, with tea and coffee available. We are always available should you need tips on where to go or can leave you to discover and enjoy this area entirely on your own.

Enjoy a relaxing coastal getaway in Devon, directly on the Coastal Path with dramatic walks from your doorstep . Stroll 150 metres down to beautiful Goodrington beach with it's cool cafes and restaurants and the nostalgia of steam trains. Superb National Trust properties very close by as are Brixham, Totnes and Dartmouth. There’s so much to see around the area and we can point you in the best direction should you require. Shuttaford - Modern Rustic Barn in Dartmoor Valley

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.
