You can relax and unwind in quiet surroundings just a short walk from the village of Meavy with the Royal Oak pub on the green. Here, you can enjoy a good meal and pint of ale whilst sitting under the old oak tree. The historic market town of Tavistock is perfect for shopping, eating out and enjoying a coffee. There are many walks and cycle rides, right from the door into the heart of the Dartmoor national park.

Private Lakeside Double Decker Bus

The bus has travelled over half a million miles, only to wind up here. I converted it during lockdown #2, and spent a few months living in it last winter, lighting many fires and seeing the occasional otter. The space is solely yours, in a little woodland nook hidden a field deep from the road, you won't see anyone or visa versa. It's also fully fenced, for your pets to enjoy a run around. Both the coast and the relative wilderness of Dartmoor are 30 mins away. Enjoy some stars ✌🏻

Our lakeside caravan, Bluebell, sits at the end of a magical valley - sleeps 4 ( incl separate double bedroom). Also enjoy chill-out Lake Barn (log burner, cooking hob, fridge freezer, microwave, comfy chairs, dining table), horsetrailer bathroom & shower. Note: oven in barn not used - small oven in caravan. A beautifully renovated and painted vintage 1960s caravan set in a secluded meadow surrounded by trees, a gentle stream and abundant flora and fauna. Guests have the whole area to themselves so it feels like your own private retreat in nature. The caravan can sleep 2 people in a double bed. There is a simple field kitchen for preparing meals and a fire pit for chilly evenings. There is a compost toilet and woodland hot water shower.
