Ongoing Promos -Cherry blossom forecast is out! For travelers who are in Tokyo from March 23 - First week of April, please feel free to inquire! -Day time shooting is currently available upon request! I will show you guys the visuals of Shibuya, the views you can get of the Crossing from above. Off the beaten paths spots and major tourist spots you shouldn't miss. After that we will move to Shinjuku via the JR Yamanote Line (12 minute train ride) and show you the gritty side of Tokyo, showing you the tiniest of alleys and the main night-life spot. The tour/photoshoot is going to be around 2-3 hours. I will be providing you with 25-40 high resolution photos, post processed and ready to share to your friends and family. Disclaimer: The experience is not a private session unless you book for one!
Eat/Drink like A LOCAL - Taverns & Ramen
LET'S GET OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA where it is overpriced and crowded with people! This tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya, Shinjuku and is less touristy. It is also famous with Japanese foodies for a good quality at reasonable prices. I'm going to take you to popular bars and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes, and we will discuss the food and drink (and you can pepper me with questions). We will visit 4 restaurants/taverns in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks (5 or more different type of drinks) and you'll be able to experience what Japanese taverns are like. After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals. At the end of the tour, I will explain which train station you need to go, depending on where you go. You are going to have a full-size meal on the day in several different restaurants included ramen, so again pls come hungry!
Premium Kimono Tea Ceremony TokyoMaikoya
You will make a green tea (Matcha) in an ancient style Japanese tea ceremony room wearing Kimono. First, you will chose your kimono. I will help to make sure that you are dressed correctly also your hair match the traditional styles. You will a selection of kimono in sizes appropriate for women, men, boys, and girls . Second, I will give you an introduction to the Japanese tea ceremony and associated rituals. Traditional Japanese tea ceremony will be held and you will make a green tea (Matcha), drink it, then eat Japanese sweets (Wagashi) which is suitable for the green tea. Lastly, you are allowed to take pictures in the tea ceremony room after the ceremony and in front of our unique backdrops! Other things to note You have an option to do the tea ceremony by sitting on a chair. Please let me know in advance!
Tsukiji (Old) vs Toyosu (New) S.S Tour
We'll start at the new Toyosu—the world's largest fish market. We'll then go to the outer area known as the Tsukiji old market and Tsukiji Uogashi, a new building with fish-selling areas, including a background area, We'll drop in for fish while experiencing the authentic and dynamic atmosphere of a wholesale market. After taking some shopping time at the outer area, we'll purchase a variety of fish and head to Asakusa. We'll visit the popular Buddhist Sensō-ji temple before we go to my shop to prepare Kaisekistyle lunch--Traditional Japanese Cuisine--, Kaisen Donburi—sashimi rice bowls—with fresh seafood and more. After our meal, we'll have some surprise treats. Please note that the markets are lively and changing each day. Please arrive on time and be aware that the experience can run over time. Other things to note Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The new market is so huge it will seem like we are viewing a factory. We'll go to the Tsukiji old market after that and enjoy comparing the two marketplaces.
The Only Real Japanese Archery -Kyudo- Experience in Tokyo
Welcome to Tokyo, Japan! Join this 2-hours experience and learn KYUDO, Japanese archery martial art. Don a traditional beautiful KYUDO uniform, channel your inner samurai. and challenge for the target! Usually when the beginner takes up KYUDO in earnest, it takes several months of practice before they are allowed to actually shoot at a target. However, this class lets you go straight into action. But please understand that you are required to practice basic training for 1 hour and basic manners, before you shoot at a target. I will guide you through every step to help you hit the target. Anyway, please keep in mind that not everyone can hit the target, even people who training over 10 years. But there’s more to kyudo than hitting the target; performing these fundamental movements correctly and keeping our mind quiet are also considered important. That's why KYUDO is regarded as "active ZEN meditation" in Japan. 1. Meeting together, and moving to a training hall 2. Changing cloth 3. Introduction 4. Exercise 5. Trying to hit the target 6. Hello, we will have a private photo session where once we meet at the agreed site we will start with a panoramic view of the Sumida river with the tallest tower in the world, the Skytree in the background, then we go to the Nakamise shopping area where we will go back in time and see the Sensoji Buddhist temple, which is the oldest and most important in Tokyo with its five-story pagoda and its traditional gardens, finally we will take a walk around its traditional streets dating from the Edo period.

Feeling Samurai Soul -samurai experience in Tokyo-
Welcome to No.1 samurai experience in Tokyo! First you'll change the clothes into "kimono" and "hakama" is samurai style. Introducing with tea ceremony Matcha green tea and Wagashi sweets Next we'll watch a real Japanese katana—a traditional sword used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Then you'll learn how to handle it with unsharpened katana. We'll also do a traditional Zen meditation. It's called "Rituzen". After doing meditation, you will be calm mind and you can cut one bundle of straw with real sword. Through using with real katana yourself, you can feel one part of swordsmanship as samurai. Lastly, you'll watch a performance using real katana by host. This experience has no flashy production, but you can feel the "real". You can enjoy not only training but also total samurai culture with this time. More than over 50country, over 3000 people joined. From families, couples to martial artists, various people touched and enjoyed the “real” samurai world! If you bring a camera, you can taking some pictures of samurai pauses which learning in this experience! This experience is also great for team building up to about 15 people. Authentic Japanese Food Crawl in Asakusa
We will explore the residual area of Asakusa, Tokyo's old town while stopping by my favorite places while visiting some of the must-visit landmarks in Tokyo (e.g. Sensoji temple with Tokyo Skytree view). We will eat at 5-6 local food restaurants and shops that are popular among the locals. Most of them have a very long history and small family-owned businesses. Throughout the tour, you will taste a wide variety of Japanese food and experience our unique culture. Other things to note This tour is run by either me or my staff. Food is included in the price. Let me know if you have any food restrictions or allergies. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate vegetarian food restrictions.

We’ll begin with a 30-minute meet-up! After hanging out with new friends, you can enjoy watching a 60-minute comedy show about Japan. (Title "My Japanese Perspective") I’m a Japanese stand-up comedian and I’ll introduce you to Japanese history, religion, culture, sex, and the recommended sightseeing spots in a funny way. After this comedy show, you’ll be able to understand "why Japanese people are like this." At the end of the show, you can mingle with the other guests and we'll all hang out together while I tell you more about Japan.

You MUST have either of the following driving documents in order to participate: [1] Foreign driving license and an international driving permit (IDP). Please note the IDP MUST be issued from within your own country by the respected issuing authority and under the geneva convention 1949. Let's see Tokyo from a different and unique point of view. We'll drive by top landmarks, including Toyosu (Tokyo Bay), Ginza, Nihonbashi, Kanda, Akihabara, Ueno and Asakusa. We will take original and unforgettable photos of you. We'll start from our shop, which is northeast of Tokyo, and we'll have an exciting ride on the public roads. Ginza will be one of the more busier areas, everyone walking on the street will look at us and want to take photos—you'll feel like you're a movie star. Bare in mind we may have to alter or change route slightly depending on traffic on a daily basis. Other things to note Valid International drivers permit and home driving license is required for driving here, failure to bring the correct documents or arriving later than 10 minutes will mean you cannot participate without refund. A Day as a Sushi Chef
Let’s become sushi master by spending a half day with sushi chef! This tour consists of two part. First, we will walk around Tsukiji fish market where I will explain about fish and Japanese dishes. Second part is, you will experience sushi making, you can make your own sushi! I make some Omakase sushi for you as well. *The duration of this tour is 3-3.5hours.
Let us make a kimono(Kimono is a gift)
First of all, let's get to know each other with a simple self-introduction. 1. Choose your favorite antique kimono from over 300 types of kimono. (Kimonos are ranked in 4 levels. There are red stickers, blue stickers, green stickers, and yellow stickers. The price of this experience is the lowest rank red sticker kimono. On the day, You can also choose a different kimono (blue sticker +2000 yen ($15), green sticker +4000 yen ($30), yellow sticker +6000 yen ($45).) 2. Iron the hemming tape and put the loops through which the belt passes. Learn how to remake into a new kimono in various ways. 3. Coordinating the kimono you made with the easy-to-wear obi, obiage, and obi tightening. Wear it and take a photo. Other notes ・Men don't have a part called "ohashiyori" in their kimono. Therefore, men's kimonos cannot be remade to add length. For men, we have an experience to print the family crest and kanji of the name on kimono, haori, juban and make it into a jacket. ・There is an additional charge for purchasing a obi. Interested in watching a serious practice of Japan's national sport, Sumo? This is a great opportunity to watch sumo wrestlers' serious practice and training from a short distance. Feel the sumo world and observe how the practice is usually done. This experience will certainly be unforgettable. Once you meet with me, I will take you to the sumo stable and I will briefly explain how sumo wrestlers practice and basic information about sumo. Not only basic information but also a secret story of sumo wrestlers that I want to share with you. After you watch a practice, you will have a chance to take pictures with them! PLEASE NOTE: - If my schedule became not available, I will arrange an alternative guide for you. She is a licensed professional guide and has information about sumo as much as I do! - There is no practice in Tokyo in March, July, and November as all Sumo wrestlers will be away from Tokyo due to a tournament in the local area. - Meeting point and time is subject to change due to sudden changes and condition of Sumo stable. There are various kinds of sushi, but we will make 5 kinds thi time (Nigiri sushi, Tamagyaki-sushi, winding winding, manual winding, fine winding). Generally there are two kinds of hand grips (kotegaeshi/tategaeshi). I will make sushi by this method. Becuase my shop is a shop that last 100 years, I have inherited the technology you will experienced it. Let's grab it in a sushi craftmanship. And let's make goals that sushi can be made even if yo return home! Let me eat lunch together because I also hold a sushi for you.
