This was previously the home of Mr. and Mrs. Long who were long-time residents of Kansas City during the early days. There are intriguing local displays of art, as well as the oldest Planetarium in the city.

The Kansas City Museum is a museum located in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. Housed in a historic 1910 Beaux-Arts style mansion and private estate of lumber baron and civic leader Robert A. Long, the Kansas City Museum became a public museum in 1940.
