One of the true hidden gems on the Brixton scene, the Beast is tucked away somewhere on Acre Lane. Make your way inside, follow the staircase up to the first floor and you’ll find a real unassuming favourite, where customised cocktails and a regularly rotating menu of street food is up for grabs.

Start your day the Beastly way! Opening from 7.30am on weekdays and 8:30am on weekends, the Beast of Brixton’s new cafe offers bacon rolls, savoury hot croissants, freshly baked pastries and moreish Alchemy coffee specially blended for the venue. But we think you’ll go for the toasties.
