This is Nelson's version of a zoo. It is a great place to take kids as some of the animals are friendly and come to the visitors in the hope of getting fed.

Situated by Tahuna Beach, this zoo is very well set up and has a great range of NZ native species as well as exotic animals.

Great little wildlife sanctuary with native NZ birds and animals and the cutest little marmoset monkeys which are the smallest breed of monkey in the world!

Cute little zoo- great for small children as they can easily walk around. Monkeys, meerkats, native birds and farm animals among others.
