I know it's not directly in South Beach, but this restaurant in the hip Wynwood district is well worth the 10 minute drive. If you are into inventive & delicious cuisine, James Beard Award runner up, Chef Bradley Kilgore has crafted the perfect menu for you.

James Beard nominated restaurant which serves well crafted, high end dishes. The closest thing we have to a Michelin starred restaurant.

Never been to restaurant, but the bar is amazing. Expensive drinks, but skip them and just get the $6 punch. It is an amazing drink!

Alter has helped put Miami’s artsy neighborhood of Wynwood on the radar of food-lovers near and far, proving that is it is worthy of all the hype around it — and there is certainly a lot. Running the kitchen is Brad Kilgore, recently named one of Food & Wine magazine’s Best New Chefs for 2016. On the menu think beautiful, high-end, Florida-inspired cuisine utilizing flavor combos you won’t see anywhere else, all served in an unassuming and purposely industrial warehouse setting that perfectly aligns with its hipster hood.
