A little biased because I worked on this museum, but it is a must visit on your trip to Juneau. It reopened with brand new exhibits in 2016. It’s unique in that the stories of all of Alaska’s history and cultures are told here. It’s a little bit farther away, about a 15 minute walk.

New building with beautiful, thoughtful exhibits ranging from ancient and contemporary native Alaskan art to statehood, mining, logging and more. Major highlight of Juneau!
