The area around here is known as the kitchen of Osaka. The shopping arcade ceiling is decorated with a huge, real-looking octopus and blowfish.

A landmark market in a covered arcade is where the locals shop for fresh fish, meat, vegetables, pickles and more. In addition to fresh and prepared foods, some shops sell bentō and have lunch counters. It's one block east of Sakai-suji, about 10 minutes' walk from central Namba.
