Hurkey Creek is also wonderful water medicine during the seasons the creek is running. Call the campground for creek conditions. Closer than Lake Hemet, and lots of fun for the kids. There's also a campground with a playground nearby.

The Little Blue Cabin

This is a great place to explore and offers trails for all experience levels. There is a small entrance fee. Hurkey Creek offers camping, picnic tables, kids playground, seasonal creek and just across the road from Lake Hemet. Approximatelya 25 min drove from the Little Blue Cabin.
