Ordsall Hall is a large former manor house in the historic parish of Ordsall, Lancashire, England, now part of the City of Salford, in Greater Manchester. It dates back more than 750 years, although the oldest surviving parts of the present hall were built in the 15th century.

Explore the history of Ordsall Hall, the friendly historic house tells the story of the Hall and some of the people who made it their home.

Salford is a city full of surprises, and not the least significant of these is the magnificent Ordsall Hall, a Grade I listed Tudor manor house slap bang in the middle of a housing estate. The first ever recording of the hall was back in 1177 so you can see why this lovingly restored building earned its Grade I status.

Nestled in amongst contemporary Salford, Ordsall Hall offers a rare trip back into history. Also great for kids.
