Go by bike or walk along the Amstel river to Ouderkerk aan de Amstel - or how long you like it. Nice scenery, quiet and green.

The next super cute town along the river. You can bike there in 20 minutes, and its a lovely ride. There are restaurants right on the river . Great view and food, and nice to be in nature after busy Amsterdam!

Supermarket: Plus supermarket half way in the main street Butchers: Opposite the Plus supermarket Bakery: Bakker Out close to the big church towards the back of the village DYI: Hubo gijs de Haan at the village square Bicycle store: De Haan right after you cross the bridge towards the centre of the village Wines and spirits: Gabel Wijnhandel in the main street Good vegetables, turkish produce: Amstel Turkse Keuken in the main street
