A Philly favorite in the Gayborhood! Salty bartenders who actually have hearts of Gold (they will never let you know that though, that's not their thing). Can bring well behaved dogs there! Always a crazy unpredictable mix of people from Philly. You'll see... Also a locals spot! Lots of regulars here. Little tip-- be ready to order when the bartenders come by... :)

Cheap dive bar right across the street. Interesting crowd, dart boards, and local flavor. CASH ONLY!

In business since 1933, Franks' regulars call this bar an 'institution' with some irony, but it does have grunge style as well as housing the Off The Wall gallery. Like many Philly dives, it offers the 'citywide special': a shot of Jim Beam and a can of PBR for $2.50. Need cheaper? Try the 'DF Shelf of Shame' beer for just two bucks!
