This 250-acre state park is southwest of the downtown district and is dedicated to the citrus legacy of the state, also known as the second Gold Rush of California. Colorful citrus groves encompass half of this historic park, demonstrating the significant landscape in California history. And the visitor center tells the story of the citrus industry with interpretive displays and exhibits.

This park preserves some of the rapidly vanishing cultural landscape of the citrus industry and tells the story of this industry's role in the history and development of California. The park recaptures the time when "Citrus was King" in California, recognizing the importance of the citrus industry in southern California.

Nice place for a stroll amongst the citrus trees, trying to fight the urge not to pick and eat the fruit. I find it really peaceful. It's a state park that charges for day use.

Riverside is home of the parent navel orange. The Citrus Park reflects the city’s citrus history. Be sure to stop by the Gless Ranch citrus fruit stand across the street from the park to pick up a bag of Riverside grown citrus, we promise it will be the best citrus you have ever tasted!
