The best Carnitas in San Diego! This is a very casual and fair priced Taqueria. We usually get the Carnitas dinner for 4 and a side of guacamole & now it's taco night! But, their burritos and nachos are delicious too!

Originally from TJ - the most authentic Mexican food in La Mesa - try it for lunch - nothing fancy and best for take out, but incredible Mexican food. For a more festive traditional Mexican place with Mariachis try Casa de Pico - very fun and wonderful Mariachi band.

We come here for takeout Carnitas almost weekly. It's seriously amazing - comes with tortillas, onion, tomato, cilantro, limes, beans and rice. You make your own tacos and will have leftovers to spare. Yum!

Mexican food. Try the San Diego specialties - California Burrito (with french fries) or California Fries! Carnitas, Carne Asada, El Pastor, and Adobada are our favorite styles of meat preparation in Mexican food.
