Kote betta is the 3rd highest peak in Coorg. It is believed that the famous Pandavas of Mahabharata have spent a considerable period of their exile at this place and built several stone houses that stand till date. This is now converted to a temple and houses Lord Linga. It has one of the best views and is a must visit for tourists.

pristine unadulterated and noncommercial place. the viewpoint in the early morning till around 8.30am is breathtaking with cloud covered mountains
