Right next to the historical poplars that inspired Mihai Eminescu, the Romanian poet, Hanul Dacilor offers the best traditional dishes in Iasi. The decor inside is simple and the waiters are very polite and welcoming. I always eat there or order food, so I definitely recommend this place.

Authentic romanian restaurant with good romanian food and folk music during Friday / Saturday evening. You can also check the "uneven poplar trees group" inspiring romanian poet Mihai Eminescu the love poetry "Around uneven poplars" dedicated to his lady, the poplars being considered as a reference point in the way to his lady's house.
