If you go around 4pm you can see the Manatee's going out in the canal.

Very close to the property you'll find Manatee Bend Park. Pack a picnic basket and head to the park and look for manatees. They are usually visible more in the early mornings.

Neighborhood park on Miami's little river, a protected Manatee Sanctuary. Kayak access and picnic facilities.
