What’s interesting about this place is that it used to be a mechanic shop called Salazar, so the entire restaurant is pretty much outdoors and the garage door is where the bar is, and then over where they used to fix the cars is where they make the tortillas. You get a nice view of them making the tortillas, so you know they’re fresh. The beef tacos are great. They cook the meat over mesquite so it has a very good, but different flavor to it. They also have a nice side dish with potato puree, and green and red chorizo that's excellent. There’s this guy in LA famously known as The Chori-Man and he sells his chorizo to this restaurant.

Great patio, great people watching, great drinks and great Mexican food! It's a drive, but if you're checking out the east side or downtown, you can't go wrong here.
for the love of mexican food and tequila . great atmosphere and out door seating. delicious all around! (5 min by car /15 by public transit. 2.2 mile walk)
Our favorite restaurant in LA. Right in the middle of Frogtown, it's delicious Mexican food served in a lively outdoor setting... an old chop shop transformed into a lush succulent-filled dining area. Do NOT MISS THIS PLACE!
