Nearby Car rental but it is withing walking distance of house, about 8 minutes on foot, is not located on Merchants Quay which is an air bnb error.

Hertz have a base just around the corner from Upper Baggot St, beside Baggot St. Bridge. There's a bus stop on Waterloo Road which will bring you into the City Centre. You might find it useful to download the Dublin Bus app There's a Dublinbikes stand on Herbert St. just beside Baggot St. bridge, you can hire bikes for short journeys. Be careful if you don't return the bike within a prescribed time it could prove expensive!
