Awesome views! This is a summer spot. The road is closed uphill of the resort in the winter.

This is one of my favorite places here. It is beautiful. There is nothing but a parking lot and a bathroom so it's usually not crowded and the views are stunning. The Minarets are a unique formation and once you know it, you'll recognize it in movies and commercials. It's great for listening to the wind and watching the clouds roll by.

It's only open in the summer, but the views are incredible and it's easy to drive to. Be sure to check it out!

Spectacular views to the west with brass pointers to help identify the numerous peaks from Yosemite to the north to Ritter and Banner, the Minarets. Accessible by vehicle in the summer without entering the Devil's Postpile Natl Monument. Nice jeep/hiking trail towards Two Teats Peak to the north.
