This is the modern area of the city. The place that was stage for the World Exhibition - Expo 1998 - and was smartly transformed into a great place to visit, work and live. Expo 98 left this neighbourhood the heritage of the open wide exposure to the river, the Ocenarium, the MEO Arena, the panoramic cable car, street art, the merge of contemporary buildings with rich gardens with a wide variety of trees from around the globe, and much more. Parque das Nações is the must go place in Lisbon if you want to explore the modern face of Lisbon.

The Parque das Nações is a good choice of district for visitors who wish a calmer and more relaxed area of the city for their holiday or city break to Lisbon in which you will find the Lisbon Oceanarium is one of the greatest tourist attractions of the capital.
