A lake in the city with sandy beaches too

Not far from the appartment, nice little lake. You can jump in anywhere but for a perfect summer day the beach area is recommended which offers cocktails, food, beach chairs and a little playground. The lake also offers boat rental and a restaurant. In the middle of the lake is a huge fountain which adds to the sixties, GDR-ish charm of the Location.

It’s a good place to have a beer and meet people in summer. Also, it’s one of the nicest places to go jogging or just sit by the water and watch the wildlife.

It is so nice to see this idyllic spot continue to improve. A small lake near by. To be honest: Crowded on hot days. Not really the cleanest lake but well, it is just 3 stops by tram.
