Closest C train station is at Greene and Fulton Streets-- It's a lovely walk when the weather's nice, about ten minutes. The C train goes directly to Manhattan.

C train. Walk up Clermont towards Greene, take a left and you'll find the stop in the middle at the edge of the park.
