This privately-owned park is one of 11 such parks in the vicinity. Recently opened, it has trails to walk or cycle and goes back through an apple orchard into the bay and islands. Great for kids also accessible to those with limited hiking capability.

Beautiful meadow walk with access to a small cove. Maps of other Cobscook Bay Trails are posted near the parking lot.

Numerous waterfront parks. Our favorite so far (we've been to three) is Race Point.

Cobscook is officially opening in July of 2021 with 11 new preserves! We have hiked them all and our favorites are Race Point and Black Duck Cove. Whiting Bay Beach is also a great place to watch the sunset. All these preserves have bathrooms!
