During the evenings, it's a jazz music venue/restaurant, but during the day, Egan's acts as a community center for jazz education and informal performances. The dining room is transformed into a space for workshops and rehearsals, with the goal of helping kids get to know jazz better in a creative space.

This tiny jazz club is a hidden gem in the city. They usually have different local jazz groups play an early and late set each night.

Much smaller than Dimitriou's Jazz Alley, this jazz venue is convenient for its surrounding Ballard restaurants and indie-rock music venues. If you feel like walking to several different bars, restaurants and music venues, then it's worth checking out.
