Our favorite place to go on a sunny day is Restaurant Skovmøllen, which is located in the scenic forests of Aarhus in an old water mill from the early 19th century. We enjoy going there for coffee and cake in the weekends, followed by a walk into the forest and down to the sea nearby. The restaurant also serves praised gourmet food in the evening.

Restaurant Skovmøllen is convenienty located next to Moesgaard museum and Moesgaard forest and beach. They serve excellent food in a charming, old mill deep into the lush Danish forest. Their weekend brunch is delicious, but remember to book in advance.
