Hummingbird Chocolate makers have just been awarded the 2016 Academy of Chocolate Golden Bean Award for their chocolate Hispaniola! About 40 minutes away by car from Ottawa. This chocolate maker offers factory tours - usually on Saturday, and has a tasting room. Please, visit their website to book the tour, since it absolutely needs to be done in advance. There is a 3CAD ticket reservation fee, but if you buy something in their site's store, you will get the money back as a discount on your purchase. Tasty!
