This is a true hidden gem outside of Buckhannon in French Creek. Adults are only $4 and children are $2. The trail is paved and shaded in the woods. We were shocked how much we loved this place and an added bonus, they are open on holidays!

The WV State Wildlife Center host a variety of animals native to West Virginia. Amongst these animals are a herd of Buffalo. Buffalo were common in West Virgina and valued as a source of food by white settlers and the Native Americans throughout the 1700's.
