Great place for soul food in DC. Try the sweet potato pie, turkey wings and smothered chicken. You can't go wrong!

Simple, inexpensive fare like fried chicken and mac & cheese at the “Home of the Sweet Potato Pie”. The spare, starkly-lighted dining area makes this best for takeout.
