George Vardaxis comes from a long family tradition of ceramists which began in Canakkale in Asia Minor. His experience in pottery reaches almost 30 years as he continues a tradition of six generations with his wife and three of their five children. Ceramics of Grandpa Makarios Vardaxis and Father Diogenes Vardaxis can be found in the folklore museums of Athens and Thessaloniki. 31 Panou Koronaiou str, Rethymno Old Town.
