You can walk onto the car ferry across the harbour to eat at the Opua Cruising Club. It will cost you just $1 for the crossing & you don't need to drive anywhere. They do good bar meals for a reasonable price. They are open 7 days from Dec-Feb & 5-6 days the rest of the year. There closing days are Mon & Tues during winter.

Great prices and down to earth food, Happy hour 5-7. Great views from the deck across the anchorage. Quiz nights 3rd Thursday of the month. Darts and Bingo,

This is our local Yacht club that welcomes visitors and is open most nights in summer and winter. Good pub grub style and cheap. Fish and Chups here a good.

does good inexpensive bar meals - especially the fish and chips. Its a nice place to enjoy a drink while watching the activity on the water
