This is a very large man made beach, it is accessed via the Pablo Picasso promenade whose bars and restaurants are busy day and night. 10 minute walk from Plaza de la Merced.

Malaga has many beaches and you can do a lot here. Playa de la Malagueta is the most famous with a lot of very good restaurants. You can start a boattrip here, you can hire all kinds of things to make your stay at this beach very pleasant.

It's a beautiful beach, very quick to walk there from the city centre. There are plenty of people including families. You can rent a sunlounger. If you need to cool off the sea is very nice. People offer you a foot massage for a few euros, it's worth trying and very good value.
