มัสยิดกลางสงขลา คำว่า "มัสยิด" แปลเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ คือ Mosque ส่วนคำว่า "กลาง" ในที่นี้คือ "ศูนย์กลาง" ในภาษาอังกฤษเราจะใช้คำว่า Central และคำว่า "สงขลา" เขียนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษได้ว่า Songkhla ซึ่งเมื่อนำทั้งสามคำมารวมกันจะใช้เรียกมัสยิด กลางสงขลาเป็นภาษาอังกฤษว่า Central Mosque of Songkhla ㆍlocated on the main highway connecting Hat Yai District and Songkhla City ตั้งอยู่บนทางหลวงที่เชื่อมระหว่างเมืองหาดใหญ่กับ เมืองสงขลา ㆍthe Taj Mahal of Thailand ทัชมาฮาลแห่งเมืองไทย ㆍOne of the most beautiful Muslim religious structure in Southern part of Thailand หนึ่งในมัสยิดที่งดงามที่สุดทางภาคใต้ของไทย ㆍbecome a major tourist attraction in Songkhla กลายมาเป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวหลักของจังหวัดสงขลา ㆍa symmetrical structure with a central golden dome on top โครงสร้างที่สมมาตร มีโดมสีทองตรงกลาง
