Ponderosa State Park: Entry fee $5. This park is open year-round and offers lots to do. Pack a picnic and play at the beach. There are multiple trails for exploration: biking, hiking, snow shoeing, Nordic Skiing, or simply drive through and take in the splendor.

The trees are YUUUUGE! Fantastic camping, walking, hiking, biking, moose sighting. Day use and overnight. McCall Outdoor Science School is also located there.
