It's soooo nice to see Amsterdam from the canal-view. Especially in the evening. Yes, there will be a lot of tourists, but also as a local it's still wonderful to do this.

It's a bit touristy, but seeing Amsterdam from the water is a unique experience. Also in the city centre there are many places you can hop on the boat.

a branch of Rederij Kooi - for the sight-seeing boats. There are even special candlelights tours to be booked. Definitely worth while to see Amsterdam from the water...
