Kēōkea Beach Park
This park has bbq's picnic tables a full pavillion an elevated canopied spot for weddings, and most of all, it is easy to get in and out of the water and has a safe ocean pool for younger children.
My favorite local place to watch the ocean come to shore. Winter waves are awesome. It's a great perspective to see the ocean and the North Kohala cliffs. No swimming due to rough water and dangerous currents.
“Good for breakfast. In the afternoon, stop by for delicious macadamia nut ice-cream! ”
“Pomaika'i Cafe (formerly Nanbu Courtyard) has great salad and sandwich options as well as good coffee and freshly baked pastries. Cobb salad and the Wagyu burger are my favorites here.”
“Unfortunately, The Hub needs to rebuild the restaurant. Currently it is closed. ”
“Nice local hangout great teas and Kava drinks; in daytime great natural shave ice. Alos local music and karaoke nights.”
