Stone oven pizzas and local brews (including an amazing root beer for the kids)with a great atmosphere. Make sure to get one of their wonderful appetizers! Growler service provided and I have supplied growlers at the cabin so you don't have to pay a growler deposit!
“A Kenai institution that’s been in business longer than I have been alive. Their menu runs everything from Greek (the best) to Seafood, American, Mexican or Italian. Everything they do, they do well. Hands down it’s also the best pizza in Kenai as well. The bar provides full service drinks and they also deliver.”
“Highest quality food on the Peninsula in our opinion. Prime Bites are excellent!”
“Wednesday markets every Wednesday during the summer feature live music as part of the Levitt AMP grant, food trucks & Beer garden, and local Alaskan vendors. The park sits on the Kenai River and has boardwalks along the river for walking, sightseeing, and salmon fishing (equipped with fish cleaning tables). The park features free pubic concerts several weekends during the summer months and the carnival is sure to appear at least one week of the summer. At the left end of the park sits the picnic area and children's play gym. The park also features movies in the park during the winter months, providing firepit areas and hot beverages. Parking is free.”
“If you have ventured over to explore the history in old town Kenai, Veronica's is a must for lunch and maybe if you are lucky some entertainment from a local musician.”
“There is a great park on Forest with a short walk to the mouth of the river. It is a sandy beach with fire pits available and berries towards the beginning of September.”
