“Upscale Dining at Koko's that includes Dan's, a sports bar below the restaurant. Oh, and you can golf at the 18 hole course. Ask about the Goat trail hole! ”
“Wonderful hike along the bay for all ages. Pets welcome. Great place to bird watch or take one of the trails over the dunes to the ocean. It’s almost a 10 mile round trip hike all the way to the point of the jetty where you’ll view the town of Garibaldi across the bay. This hike is great for a short or long trip as there’s beautiful scenery all along it. Watch for blue Herons, White Egrets, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Geese and Ducks, Sand Pipers, Elk, Deer, Coyotes and the occasional Raccoon. ”
“This is recommended only for those who will be coming to or from the cabin on Highway 6 as it would be a long drive for anyone else. This is an excellent interpretive center exploring the Tillamook forest, its ecology, and its history. Don't miss out on the 15 minute movie the plays every half hour. It explains the Tillamook Burn in fascinating detail. There are lots of great exhibits for the kids and some walking trails along Wilson River just outside the building. Allow 2+ hours.”
“A little more upscale restaurant with a different menu every day for lunch and dinner. Good place to enjoy wine or drinks at their beautiful bar that also has a separate menu.”
