Ancient village with a church listed in the doomsday book. Lovely walks around the park grounds and lakes. Great pub for food and drinks with loads of outside space for Al fresco dining. A nice walk from number 7 along the seafront to get there

Cockington Country Park Just off from Torquay seafront, Cockington Country Park. It is packed with beautiful gardens, lakes and woodlands. The 460 acres of parkland surrounds the picture postcard Cockington village with its thatched cottages and rose gardens. The tea rooms here provide the perfect location for a cream tea. Horse and carts can often be seen transporting visitors around the grounds too.

Beautiful setting with plenty of safe country walks meandering thought the rose gardens and local independent businesses, as well as the delicious hot chocolates available at the manor.
