If you are interested in the history of Stockholm, just cross the street. As most other museums in town this is also closed on Mondays.

Stockholm city museum is a very nice museum if you like to know more about old Stockholm. They use to have fun things for kids normally.

The Stockholm City Museum is a museum documenting, preserving and exhibiting the history of Stockholm. The museum is housed in Södra Stadshuset at Slussen on Södermalm.
