owned by your host, The Writer's Block Bookstore & Cafe features a great selection of books, international comfort food, wine, craft wine-based cocktails, and locally brewed beer. It is conveniently located on Spenard Road on the way to orbfrom the airport.

Amazing cafe and independent book store less than a 5 minute walk away! Yummy food, great drinks and cozy atmosphere.

New to Spenard, very close to Birch House, owned locally by four women, selling beer on tap, wine, coffee and limited menu of breakfast- dinner. A great place to kill time and hang out.
