El Molino del Hortelano invites you to discover the exciting world of olive oil through a unique experience, where you can get to know all its extra virgin olive oils in their place of birth, the Montes de Málaga. You will be able to learn first-hand about the process of production of their extra virgin olive oils in the modern olive mill, from the moment the olives enter the mill until the oil is bottled. You will also travel back in time by visiting the old 18th century stone mill, which was formerly a wine press, of which the exceptional cellar has been recovered and which has one of the few beam and quintal presses that exist in the province of Malaga. Here you will learn how our ancestors made olive oil. In addition to seeing the modern olive oil mill and the old mill, you can choose from the following options to complete your visit: Tasting of the oils of Molino del Hortelano: Approximate duration of the visit + tasting: 60 minutes. De familie Cabello runt deze ecologische olijfmolen samen met zijn zoon en produceert de beste extra vierge olijfolie. Een bezoekje is de moeite waard, zeker in combinatie met een heerlijk ontbijt waarbij je de verschillende olijfolies kan proeven.
