Well this is fun and a truly unique opportunity for visitors to take a trip up the historic River Tawe. The boat is called Copper Jack as it points out the remains of Copperopolis which is the heart of industrial Swansea

Discover Swansea’s historic industrial heritage. Swansea was once the copper producing capital of the world. This is an interesting cruise on the River Tawe. On the boat you will view the passing scenery and river bank wildlife. You will find the boat Copper Jack moored in Swansea Marina in front of the National Waterfront Museum. The boat starts from the marina along the River Tawe, as far as the Liberty Stadium, and back. First launched in 2011, it has attracted a steady stream of visitors while celebrating the area's maritime and industrial heritage.

Sightseeing barge based in Marina that travels through lower Swansea valley up as far as the Liberty Stadium. Good friend tried it Sept 2018 and found it slightly expensive but worth the trip "Stunning to see the valley from the water, amazing to appear to be travelling through a forest - recommended for those not used to canal journeys"
